• From 2016 to date CBHCC is finalizing implementation of Trachoma Safe Communities Programme covering six villages and seven primary schools in Simanjiro District, Manyara Region
• Activities involved include construction of water systems in Landanai village, rain water harvest in Losokonoi Primary school and rain water harvest rehabilitation in Okutu and Naberera primary schools. Construction of demonstration latrines at household level.
• Also, formation of school clubs, formation of COWSO to run the water project, trainings on operation and maintenance. CBHCC also conducts trachoma trainings to communities and schools.
• The project is funded by Simavi, the total amount of this project is Tshs. 499,011,000/=.
