Community Based Health Care Council (CBHCC) is a Tanzanian Non-Governmental Organization which was established and registered in 1992 with registration number SO 7766 and Compliance Certificate No 0753 of 2018.

The organization is based in Arusha City in Tanzania, East Africa and operates nationally. It is a non-segregated Organization that works with all people regardless of their background, faith, race and political beliefs.

CBHCC is headed by a Coordinator who is accountable to the Board of Directors.

Mission: To Improve Health status and well-being of people through community-based Water, Sanitation, Health and Environmental Programs

Thematic Area: CBHCC activities focus on Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH) and Environment. The organization has been operating in this thematic area since 1992 to date. To have a successful impact of implemented projects, aspects of Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Environment are incorporated.
